Can somebody help me with this? I have a 2013 Nissan Sentra SV and the ac isn t working, I verified the compressor is on when the Ac is switched on, but it appears the clutch doesn t disengage. It is constantly running. I have taken readings off of my gauge manifold and the low side is reading about 80 and the high side is reading about 110. Also when reading the static pressure the low and high sides do not equalize. The temperature where I am located was about 105 Fahrenheit when I took the readings. I thought it to be a bad expansion valve but after replacing it, I am still experiencing the same problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi so here is another side to the coin. a production car like nissan is thrown together. so parts are not treated with the greatest of care. the car was designed to last just 7 years. now as 2013 car is now 5 years old it is getting to the end of it's life.

If the AC compressor cycles a lot you're low on refrigerant.

I'd find a mechanic that can diagnose your AC problem.

If the AC compressor cycles a lot you're low on 134a.

A bad expansion valve won't give you readings like you posted.

Let me put this in small simple words so even someone with your apparently limited intelligence can understand.

Your car is BROKEN! Take it to a shop where it can be fixed!

Check and double check if the AC clutch is engaging. If it is, the compressor is shot and is not doing any "compressing". Remove the serpentine belt and turn the clutch/compressor with a socket and ratchet. It should turn with some effort. If it does not take any effort to turn, the compressor needs to be replaced.
