If it sounds to good to be true, it never is true The paint, clear, primer, reducer, etc will run way more than $1,000 for chameleon paint. Last that I bought at a jobber price was $40 an oz. for just the House of Kolor base coat paint and I needed 64 oz to do the car. You do the math. Your talking about a $10,000 paint job for a grand... Run away

There may be different names for silver pearl shot over a pink base. Sand the entire car smooth. Primer so the color sticks, then color coats then start with the pearl and clear coats. Pearl reflects light much like the inside of a sea shell. Old timers used to spray ground shell into paint. Now synthetic pearls and even color shifting paint are available. There is no such thing as a perfect paint job and really good paint work could easily cost 3,000 to 10,000 dollars.

you are talking BIG money! A chameleon paint job starts at $10,000 if you want it done right. Additionally, after it's painted, you have to apply a special wax regularly, and god help you if you scratch it or someone keys it. The repair on a Chameleon job starts at $2,000. Hope this helps.
