Ok so I bought another project car a 1996 nissan maxima 3.0l v6 approximately 190 hp. Car isn't that bad but it's reaching 200k miles and I'm tring to make 250+ hp. Ok well should I build the internals and tranny and try to boost it or swap out with the new VQ35DE that's like 265 hp I beleive. If I swap engine out I think I'll need the new tranny so that's bout 2500 on just engine and tranny so wat should I do?

A 14 year old car only you could love after spending around 10 grand. Be very careful Maxima do not have a high performance line of aftermarket parts. Taking a VQ-35de motor and adapting it to fit a older maxima. Just remember the motor mounts are not in the same places. Engine control electronics and wiring are different.

the two computerized? nicely then neither of you may desire to be racing every physique for funds, yet i could say the Maxima as long as you been changing your oil on schedule and the element nonetheless runs nicely. in case you been, or the previous proprietor were treating it like crap, you won't be at unique potential, yet I nonetheless does no longer worry an computerized Scion, you may desire to beat that element in a foot race. be careful, drag racing is computerized loss of license in my state.
